You will be able to begin set-up in the exhibit hall at 9:30 am that day. Wednesday's activities have been planned to allow delegates uncontested access to the partner exhibits at specific times outlined in our program. On Thursday exclusive partner time blocks have been set aside throughout the day. Partners may begin teardown after the final partner session Thursday afternoon. A complete conference packet including a detailed time schedule will be provided to each of you upon your arrival Wednesday. In the past some of you have provided additional support to WACA in the form of cash sponsorships. These underwriting gifts help to defray the costs of bringing in national speakers, the costs of hosted activities such as our Wednesday evening social, etc. Your financial help keeps costs to the delegates and their schools at an affordable level.Spotlight your company! The 2009 WACA conference is focused on promoting our partners and their generosity. Last year we had partners donate gift certificates to Nordstrom's, Dinner at the Space Needle and many other extraordinary giveaways. The WACA board wants to recognize these phenomenal giveaways and their donors at the final luncheon on Friday. If you have a special item that you will be donating contact me by March 1, 2009 so that you will receive this additional recognition. Let's have some fun and win a prize!! We appreciate that each year more booths are trying to tie in with the conference theme. This brings a more festive feeling to our area and creates an atmosphere that attracts delegates. I hope all of you will take some time to think of creative ways to include our theme "The Wild, Wild WACA" into your presentations. Delegates will vote for their favorite booth. Congratulations to ................2008 "Best of Show" winner (TBA) We plan to continue our tradition of door prizes for delegates. WILL YOU PLEASE SET ASIDE AN ITEM, OR ITEMS TO DONATE FOR THIS PURPOSE? A WACA board member will collect these from you sometime Wednesday afternoon or Thursday. We believe the conference setting is unsurpassed. We've put together another dynamite program that's sure to draw a record number of participants. All that's missing is you! |
