Keeping the Power On

POWER ON! Does you school climate need a boost? Does your school community need to be more inclusive? Do you want your students to feel more connected? This session will introduce you to a school wide program that is more than a theme for the year, but a plan to implement lasting positive change in the climate of your school. You can take away from this workshop an entire program or just a few ideas. It is up to you how much you choose to do. We will be reviewing our presentation from last year and also showing you how the program has grown and will continue to grow.

Building for ASB with PVC

In this session I will introduce you to the world of PVC pipe and fittings and demonstrate a number of ways this functional product can be used in ASB activities. PVC is a wonderful material that has many uses, is easily reusable and is fairly inexpensive. It is both sturdy and flexible to use. I am sureafter seeing some of the possibilities you will come up with new ways to put PVC to work for you!

3 ways to organize officer retreats

Participants will see agendas and planning for three different kinds of retreats: 3 day retreat, mini (12 hours) and extended (start in August, continue at points throughout the year). Playing Time

Playing time is the most emotionally charged issue coaches will deal with in their careers. This presentation is designed to help coaches prepare for this issue by offering guidance on a playing time philosophy for all levels of play and then communicating that philosophy to the stakeholders within the program: assistant coaches, athletes, and parents.
